Byron Bay, July 2012
I am very excited to be part of the 2012 Splendour in the Grass visual arts program. Curated by Anne Marie Kohn and Craig Walsh, the program includes a number of exciting local and international artists.

Via a great deal of negotiation we have been able to secure three original bus stops from Adelaide that I have altered as my contribution. The scrawl that is borrowed to become the painted imagery is collected from the Old Adelaide Gaol. I have become interested in the parallel between bus stops and jail cells as places of waiting. These works smash a whole bunch of cultural perspectives together in a day-glo, festival oriented outcome. Here are a pics from my wintery back yard studio and an equally wintery Splendour in the Mud.
