This drawing will be hung as a finalist in the All Connections to Unley Art Prize
This is an experimental approach to mapping. It has been made via a mobile drawing device that I have created. The machine’s movements are activated by solar power and the rotation of its wheels. It requires a journey to generate outcomes. This drawing is the result of a walk through Unley, meeting people, reminiscing and making notes on many of my own memories of specific sites. By combining all of these elements I hope to create something of a survey of an essence of Unley.
