National Art School, Rayner Hoff Project Space
The Drawing Exchange is a collaboration between the nation’s top art schools, bringing together 22 artists from around Australia to produce new works drawn directly onto the walls of Adelaide Central School of Art and the National Art School in Sydney.
At once an exhibition and open studio, The Drawing Exchange will see drawings made live at each venue, allowing audiences rare opportunities to engage with artists as they work. The project aims to foreground the drawing process, and highlight the inherently human act of drawing and the tension between personal creativity and public display.
